Just got mine today ....it is almost great... Very quiet on level 1... unfortunately it clicks very slightly, but noticeable and very irritatingly every time it reaches the bottom of its vertical movement,. Making that mode pretty unusable for the bedroom Shame, i might still keep it as its extremely quiet and no issues on the horizontal movement, at the moment, but thats not ideal. Will definitely keep hold of my receipt

I love the app and voice assistant. As i dont like it running when i need a quiet time and can just say to stop That for me is great feature. I dont care about noise level as its just humming anyway, dorsnt disturb me.

I just received it. Impressive. I'm a fan! 😁 It does throw out more air on lower settings / noise than our current fans. And the display and oscillations are great. Wish I'd found these sooner. My brother also liked it and is probably going to buy one. I don't praise things easily. Hopefully I don't get any annoying rattling or clicking in a few weeks 🙏 Seems really quality though and i didn't know the last model was highly rated.

I just received the dedicated table side version and its impressive. It does throw out more air and less noise on lower settings than the NSA pedestal and tower fans we have. Looking forward to receiving this pedestal version Monday - I only came here to see how the height extends. Nice to find a company that seems to produces quality products. And disappointed I accepted our current fans for so long - thought fans were all the same.

Do these cool a room in the summer or heat it up

Had two of these for a few years. Clean them every year after summer and box them up ready to go the following year. They have been great, however one has just stopped going left to right with a terrible clicking noise. Has anyone experienced this and if so did they find a fix?

Just don't get the complainers. I bought one today here in Malta. 3 year warranty. Use fans all the time in conjunction with air con. Weekly maintenance of previous Airmate model bought 2 years ago with no issues. Still going strong in this heat and humidity now in bedroom. A Gregguk was offered a good out of warranty package and accuses Meaco of bad experience. He had 2 years of great use then motor causes problems. Don't know how much the previous model he had was but I am sure it was a good price. Here I paid 169€. Meacos reply is excellent.

Started looking up fans during current hot weather. Ceiling fan recently removed. This was recommended by Which. Nice to see a unpretentious presentation like this. The movement is what clinches it for me. Also, great to see a successful British manufacturer.

What about cleaning? The fans pick up dust very easily and the current 1056 was such a pain to clean… you had to manually unscrew the device then dismantle it then clean it.. I didn’t even bother putting the screws back in as having to take them out puts me off wanting to clean it… I know you’ve thought about the quality of your air flow and fan features but what about the maintenance for the user? How is it different for this fan?

My Meaco fan is just over 2.5 years old and makes a very loud grinding noise. Wasted my money completely. Meaco are not interested and have no solution to fix it apart from offering a low discount on a new fan. They have no spares or new motors. Totally unacceptable

i've just cleaned my fan and put it back together and suddenly its making a noise. The noise seems to be a result of the front grate (full confession - I dropped the grate when disassembling the fan). If I run the fan without the grate (not particularly safe) there is no noise. Is there a fix?

Why does the on/off button and AP button not do anything despite beeping when pressed?

I absolutely love my two Meaco 1056 fans, but the Eco feature is the only disappointment, as I've tried it several times over the years, and it doesn't cool a room....the room just continues to get hotter and hotter.

I cannot recommend Meaco products after this very bad experience and wasted £100 I have already contacted Meaco UK and initially they seemed to be interested in my broken Fan asking for receipt, pictures and video of the problem, which I took time to create and send. Your website says that even if your product is out of warranty we may be able to help. However, after a few weeks of no reply I got a curt response from Yonathan, a Customer Service Advisor, saying they had ignored my information I sent and would not help me in any way at all as I was just outside the warranty period, which I told MeacoUK in my first customer contact. This is very disappointing for a company that is supposedly caring for its customers and proud of its reputation. I cannot recommend Meaco Products after this bad experience. How can you sell something that is not repairable? All I needed was a new motor. What a shame.

I live in a trailer with very little insulation, because I can not afford to insulate it currently. If I got a Dehumidifier would it help my humidity issue, or would it just be running up my power bill in defeat?

This fan seems very similar to the Sefte 10" pedestal fan. Is one better than the other? This one is slightly cheaper. Thanks
